• HTML 4 Listboxes

  Automatic insertion of correct HTML 4.01 tags, attributes and values. Click a tag in the HTML 4 Listbox and the correct attributes are displayed. Click an attribute to display its allowed values. Double clicking any item inserts it into your document.

• List Maker

  Create ordered, unordered and definition lists automatically, then just fill them in. Inserts often used attributes and values.

• Table Maker

  Create tables automatically. Fill in the number of rows and columns, then pick often used attributes and values.

• Support for png images.
• Added toolbar button for non-breaking spaces,  
• Tags and attributes in lower case.
• All values in quotation marks.
• All non-empty elements have closing tag.
• Font faces added to Quick Pick List
• Removed Preview.

• Smoother installation.
• Larger file size.
• Cleaned up typos and omissions in the menus.
• The comments in the status bar might actually be helpful now.

This upgrade is mainly cosmetic. While it contains no new functionality, it was compiled with a new version of the development system, so fixes and improvements within the application framework are reflected in LaEdit^TM.

• Images>Pick Images now inserts the relative path to the image (instead of just the file name).
• Improved performance of temporary files for page preview. A temporary file named ~latemp.html is created in the same folder as the currently open file. (These can be safely removed.)
